We provide various pathways into Flinders University and your preferred degree. What works for one person may not work for another. Our pathways include options for those who have studied at TAFE, finished Year 12, studied at another university, or our Foundation Studies Program which is an introduction to university study.

If you have completed at least one semester of full-time equivalent study at university you may be able to transfer to study at Flinders University using your grade point average (GPA).
If you’ve finished Year 12 in previous years, or are currently studying Year 12, and you complete the SACE/IB (or interstate equivalent) you are eligible for competitive entry and guaranteed entry using your ATAR.
The Indigenous Admissions Scheme provides an alternative pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who may not have been able to gain entry to university by traditional means, with the opportunity to study at Flinders.
