A love of maths and science, combined with a creative and innovative mind, is leading Flinders Bachelor of Engineering student James Royle, towards a career in civil engineering.

Studying civil engineering at Flinders has prepared James for a career in a variety of areas, including design consultancies, government agencies, the construction industry and mining industry.
“Civil Engineering at Flinders was the right choice for me because the flexibility of the course was very appealing. The degree is broad, and exposes you to water, transport, structural and geotechnical engineering”.
Flinders works closely with industry to meet future employment needs. Flinders’ $120 million hub at Tonsley hosts businesses, institutes and thought leaders. You’ll be taught specialist, practical engineering skills to help make you job-ready.
